July Y13
Summer
Summer is in full swing now, with clear skies, warm nights, and ample sunshine! As such, the deserts begin to grow dry, the shores remain a blissful escape, the north is spared with cooling winds, and humidity continues to rise in the jungle. Rain and storms are long forgotten troubles by now, which is both a virtue and a vice during the heat of the season.

Drakon Tollaire
Since the finding of Parvati, Drakon had been restless. He had welcomed her into his home with open paws and would keep it that way but it seemed that she had been warned about it. That Sarthak had given her a run down of things that once were and that was not the case. But if she was here and looking for @Caligula then perhaps the maneless male was here and one day the white brute would run into him. So, Drakon had taken it upon himself to leave the borders of his home and would move through the territory of Amaryllis in hopes that he would find the male.
Caligula had come looking for Sarthak but had found the golden male's arch nemesis instead. But Caligula had never had anything against the white male. He had tried talking with him to prevent things but it had all been for naught. He had never wanted anything that had happened to have happened. Still it could all be held against him just because of whom he had aligned himself with despite it being well known that Caligula only ever wanted everyone to get along.
"Reminiscing?" The maneless male called out from the high edge that led itself to the pit. Drakon had been a fighter and Caligula hadn't faulted him for that. It seemed to be the way most males worked out their issues but it wasn't something that Caligula participated in himself. "I have seen Hecuba. She mentioned your missing children. Have they ever been found?" He felt for her loss. He understood it as he didn't know where his own brood had gone. He had lost them and home and eventually had lost them as well.

Drakon Tollaire
Table by NabooWho came in his direction was not someone he had been expecting to see. Ears twisted his ears in the direction of the voice before his head turned towards @Caligula's scent and spotting him. "Caligula, it's nice to see you again." He would muse gently towards the mane-less male. However, the question caused a stir in him as he would glance away and back out towards the pit. He had only fought once here and it was a spar with Jafar. That was it. "Something like that." He would comment before hearing about Hecuba. "If you are talking about our girls, no we haven't. One of our son's is missing as well." He would admit.

"Is it really?" There was all seriousness in the question. He would have thought Drakon to have been upset with him. Certainly it was well enough known how Sarthak had felt and Caligula had tried to work things out but it just didn't work despite his best efforts. So he figured Drakon would blame him for Sarthak's actions.
"I know my three youngest made it but where they are now is anyone's guess. I had been busy looking for them a home that I have lost them entirely." They were yearlings now though and not cubs. He supposed they didn't truly need him to do for them. No one really needed his at this point.
Caligula moved over to sit next to Drakon to stare into the pit. "Have you seen him again?" The name went unspoken but there was only one him that Caligula could be referring to. Had Sarthak and Drakon managed to have another run in?

Drakon Tollaire
Table by NabooThe question was as serious as serious could be and Drakon looked over towards the mane less male. "Yes it is. I do not fault you for what happened." It would've happened regardless of the things that @Caligula would have tried to do to stop it. Plus it wasn't Drakon that Caligula would've been worried about if Hanneth hadn't been able to bring him back to life. Hecuba would've came for blood and destroyed everything that the male loved. She would've felt that it was justice but Drakon was grateful that he was alive and it hadn't happened that way. "I think I have met one of your children. Parvati. I found her in the Passage looking for you and invited her into my home until she found her family. You're free to join her." Granted, Drakon knew how Caligula felt about water. "I have not. I've seen him when I first arrived but I haven't ran into him on my own." He would admit knowing that Sarthak would attack him on the spot.

"I would fault me." He spoke honestly. He had faulted himself for what had happened. He had always felt that he should have somehow been able to do more. That he should have been able to stop it all from happening. That maybe if he had spoken sooner or did something else differently.
He nodded his head when his grey child was named. "Yes, Parvati is one of mine. She is among the youngest litter along with Spiritus and Rsorvic. Sky gave them to me and Sarthak. Or well, to me since Sarthak wasn't there to receive them. They were supposed to be ours but then everything happened." He sighed and shook his head. "Sarthak was there at least to watch over them as we made our way here." And Sarthak hadn't outright denied them even if he didn't believe where they had come from. Though now that he said that he had to wonder if it would change how Drakon felt about the yearling. "Just don't hold it against her."
"I think that would depend on where your home is." Nothing against Drakon. There just felt to be too many prides with large amounts of water. He simply couldn't live in such prides. He was too wary of the water to want to tempt fate in such a way again. He had done an island before and it hadn't turned out well.
"I haven't seen him for awhile myself. He had been looking for a pride and that is the last I know." But he supposed he was the only one whom cared that Sarthak had gone missing.
"Do you think there is anything else to this place besides just a hole in which to spill blood?"
@Drakon

Drakon Tollaire
Table by NabooA sigh escaped from Drakon's lips as he head that @Caligula faulted himself on what had happened and gently, Drakon would lift a paw up to gently pat the man's shoulder. "The past is over with and can't be changed. Only the present and the future can be changed now, and I'm not the same man who ruled by the Coast." He would admit, glancing towards the pit that surrounded them. Ears twisting as Caligula would agree that Parvati was one of his children, along with other's that Sky had given to him and it brought a smile to his features. "At least you know one is safe, I'll keep a look out for the other's." He would claim before glancing towards Caligula then back to the arena before them. "I hold nothing against a child who's parent did the wrong. She had nothing to do with it, just Sarthak and I can't judge her for that. Though, she was very confused on who I was. I guess Sarthak had warned her about me and I tried to explain to her that I was - in fact - the same Drakon but changed." He would admit, keeping his eyes on the ground before him as he spoke. "It only confused her more."
"You wouldn't like my home. It's similar to the Coast." He would admit, glancing towards Caligula then, "But I will offer it to you when you want to come visit. I won't hold your child from you." He wasn't like that in any way. Before or after his death, Drakon believed that children had nothing to do with their parents decisions and actions. So, Parvati was safe within the Cove. Granted, at the mention of Sarthak going for a pride had brought his attention more interested before it switched to what the valley had to offer. "There are more places here. Mountains, Forests, Swamps, Deserts." He would begin, "Maybe I can show them to you one day." As a friend.

"Sarthak could. Just for associating with you." All Caligula had to do was drop Drakon's name to upset Sarthak. It wasn't a pleasant experience and Caligula felt it was one of the reasons Sarthak had done what he had done, because Caligula hadn't shut up and had spoken the white lion's name.
"I don't see where you have changed." But it also wasn't like Caligula had this disastrous opinion of Drakon either. He didn't see the other lion as some sort of horrible monster. He had been able to talk to Drakon previously just as he was doing now. But then Caligula rarely had trouble speaking to anyone. It was more the way that others took him instead.
Caligula nodded when the other male explained that the bronze lion wouldn't like his home. "That would mean most visits would happen near the border." Because that would be the place furthest away from the water. At least with the two that came directly to mind as large sources of water, either the Cove or the Lagoon. Neither a place he could ever feel comfortable.
"And a Brook as well." Caligula added to the list that Drakon had built. Or perhaps the white male didn't know of the Native pride. Caligula hadn't know about it until he had managed to stumble upon it himself. "Should I worry about Hecuba coming after me because you want to show me things?" The words were spoken with a hint of a grin, insinuating that just maybe there were more things that Drakon would like to show them. Of course he didn't really believe that.

Drakon Tollaire
Table by Naboo"And that is his own fault. My actions and decisions are of my own." He would state, but there was no hint of irritation or anger. He was rather annoyed by Sarthak's petty-ness about everything and it only caused Drakon to want to be further from him than ever, and not out of fear but really out of being cautious of the male. Who knew what he would do the next time Sarthak saw him. "Well, should I take that as a compliment or insult." He would chuckle at the words before hearing the Brook. "Ah, right. I nearly forgot about the Native's. I recently visited them." He would state, having never been to the Native pride until Gareth wished to leave and join his wife. At the mention of his own wife, Drakon chuckled a deep baritone rumble in his chest. "Perhaps." He would tease before shaking his head. "No, I merely offer out of peace and as a friend." He would admit more seriously.

"I suppose you can take it however you wish. I never seen you as a war mongering tyrant. You simply had different views than Sarthak and myself. I didn't agree with them but I didn't fault you for them either. Though I suppose you have perhaps changed a small amount. When we first met it was pretty obvious you didn't think much of me. I can't say I know what changed your mind but I've never changed my opinion of you. You have your own values and integrity, simply not all of them align with my own. Though I must ask, did you claim Parvati or was it her choice?" And that was where they had always differed. Drakon didn't mind claiming while Caligula had always been pro-choice.
"I have considered joining there. A lot of their ideals seem to align with mine. Uncertain if they would take on someone like me though." Being an Outsider might be held against him. It was a native pride after all and they might not wish to support someone whom wasn't already a native. And it would be up to them if they wished to hold his origin of birth against him. It would probably be the most mundane thing to be held against him.
Caligula laughed as he was teased. He didn't really imagine that Drakon would have any actual interest in him. "And where would this friendship tour start?"
