With renewed strength, she wandered the brook idly in her free time away from clerical duties. There was no mistaking the unusual smell on the air, something that caught her attention almost immediately. With a cautious but quick pace, the colossal woman moved to close in to a decently safe distance out from the bull, far too fearful of his gore-worthy tusks to want to get any closer. Her green eyes blinked softly in concern, eyebrows folding over them as she looked to see if anyone else had noticed the creature so far into their territory. Not having noticed anyone yet she chuffed softly, trying to quietly alert those nearby to the intruder upon the territory. All she can think about is the babies and how much harm this bull could be.

A native bull? Sorry, don't know her. Talisa happily wandered the vicinity of Vermeda as though she was every bit as comfortable as she ever had been. Aside from the recent stir of trouble within the peninsula, Talisa was one of the happiest lionesses alive and she was sure of it. Though it was easily stirred due to the rather loud raucous noises she was hearing from a nearby animal. One look from afar and she could see the outline of a rather large elephant that had trampled its way into the Brook. One low call and she was quickly fixated on telling her children to stay in the den no matter what until they were told it was safe to come out. The last thing she needed was the three of them thinking they were big, bad and scary and could take this thing down themselves. So Talisa readied herself, hopeful that more of her family and kin would come to take this one down (preferably) or to lure it on out.

4 years, no perks. Days and weeks have been quiet in the Brook, things here, things there. And Tullia felt like her pride was doing okay despite the tensions rising in Amarylyss, tensions she had yet to understand why they were here at all. But all she hoped was that Maua would intervene should things rise to death or anything that could bring destruction to their home, one that used to be peaceful and harmonic. Moving of subject, today hunting ring called for the Brook as a huge elephant had tried to claim Vermeda as his own, something that of course wouldn't do. But an elephant was harder than anything else. She hid and ready or not she was going to wait for more extra help as she was sure they would need everyone in this hunt.

5 Years & No Bonus

The elephant's approach was disruptive, loud. But for as big a creature as he was actually considerably graceful. Fallen branches crushed below him like twigs, loud cacophony, but he moved along paths that seemed far too slender for a creature his size with easy. Doubtless he could fell the trees if he wanted. The bronze lion approached his gathering family, silver eyes focusing outwards on the brown-grey titan making his way along into their home lands. Food maybe. But would need to be turned around regardless. Aquila's large chest puffed outwards a bit, his muscles growing tight. Bull v Bull

Four years, no perks

You know, she'd had about enough of others wandering onto occupied land and trying to take it. First strangers came in and took her familial home, and now this fucking elephant came along and thought he could take Nymeria's? Hell no. She wasn't even scared as she stalked through their lands, a silent snarl on her lips. No, the living skeleton was angry. Perhaps irrationally so, come to think of it. But, she hadn't seen her friend Raven in some time, and naturally worried for her. That and there were so many cubs in the pride to worry over (and dote on too of course, but she didn't do a whole lot of that unfortunately). So yeah, she was a little pissed, and she didn't think anything of it as the massive creature came into view.

a what? they seemed to have rather interesting luck with their hunts as of late -- the first shock had been the arrival of two hippopotamus, but that paled in comparison to the gargantuan figure that standing before them now. of all things, an elephant had decided that today was the day to invade the home of vermeda, imposing their presence, and their threat, on it's inhabitants. unfortunately, however, it would not be met with a warm welcome.

instincts lurched within nymeria's chest as she moved closer to her kin, eyes narrowed into slits, as she felt a lick of protectiveness and anger rise in her throat. it was too much of a threat, especially with the children running around -- they could not risk having it stay for any longer than it already had. "be careful, and watch the tusks." the druid murmured lowly to the others, hoping that they could prevent anyone from getting seriously hurt in the process. we can do this, she said wordlessly to herself, teeth pressed together, as she flicked her tail and awaited for the (hopeful) arrival of a few other able bodies.

Ophelia knew that over recent months, the Brook had seen some colourful and interesting prey wander into the territory. Ophelia had been tending to some personal matters when the soft chuff erupted through the territory. A tingle rushed through her stomach when she heard the call, and the curiosity that swelled in her gut got the better of her.

Ivory limbs with pink tips move through Vermeda with purpose, sea-foam eyes darting to and fro in case there was danger around the corner: tension simmered in the air. It didn't take the Valour sister long to arrive amidst the crowd of natives, orbs moving to focus on the elephant in the distance. Oh. "We can do this," She whispers, muscles twitching under ivory skin as she awaited her orders.

What on earth was that? Tyne's head snapped up at the odd noise and tried to figure it out. She jumped up and headed off to figure out what was going on. She arrived to find a massive invader. She had never seen an elephant in the area before but she wasn't overly surpised. They were around. She caught sight of others gathering and moved to be with them as she heard Nym's warning. Yep. Would need to be careful of those, no one needed to get hurt today but this would be a meal that could fill them for many days to come. She hoped they could all work together to bring it down.

3 years, no perks.

She arrived later than the others, but it had taken time for Onyxia to mull over whether or not she'd be strong enough to join them in the hunt. The desire to return to normal life hastily took over, and the diplomat who usually did not prefer to hunt had quickly joined the group in their efforts. Upon her arrival, she too could smell the mud-clad skin of the elephants and their thunderous footsteps not too far from them. She slunk down beneath the fringes of the tall grasses, approaching as silently as she could to her sisters and her pridemates.

Silent and steady did she await Nymeria's command or the elephant's hasty approach. They had only one chance to get this right, and with the larger elephants determined to protect their own - even if they are separated momentarily - it would prove to be their most difficult hunt yet. Onyxia resigned to staying somewhat behind the group, watching for any discrepancies or dangers, and also keeping herself out of harm's way since she was still recovering. The last thing the Brook needed was her desperation to return to full strength killing her in the process.
