His trip into the realm of this place was uneventful for the most part. Korrin had noted with no small amount of distaste that many of the prides he crossed held a distinctly feminine scent. Oh, there were a few that held the unmistakable musk of a lion at the helm, but those he did pass were not exactly his 'cup of tea' so to speak landmark wise. A cave was not where he wished to spend much of his time. A ocean peninsula was also not in his list of top five places to live. There had been a rocky mountain - but again, he would rather have some sort of forest cover.

It was when he crossed the swamplands that he followed the scent of another, and this one - this one was distinctly male. Lips peeling back as the caramel beast paced just beyond the borders - scenting and tasting the air. It was small.. perfect enough for a lion seeking to make his name here. So, Korrin would sit, just beyond the marked edges and chuff to call out those of rank within the lands. He only hoped that they would align with his own desires.. Else he would be venturing back through the swamps towards the other two prides.

He felt the slithering of scales as the viper within his mane shifted, adjusting herself so she was settled in a more comfortable position. As such, just her tail hung out of the mass of hair, the tip coiling slowly, almost languidly in the open air. Korrin knew that the deep jungle mire would appeal to her need to be in the trees as well, and certainly hoped their searching was at an end.

New place! New friends!

She had not seen any new friends yet since Wodnik dropped her off but she was sure they were here. She could smell them. This place smelled like so. many. lions. she wanted to roll in all their scents, encase herself in together-smells so all would know that she was part of the pride now, she was safe and protected and she wanted the safe belonging smell to protect her, to keep them from running her out. If only she could do good this time.

She was anxious but she didn't know it. Her heart beat fast, rattling within her chest as her threadbare pelt turned about and about rolling on one distinct border marking that probably smelled a lot like the king's pee, really, probably because it was probably the king's pee. But it smelled like pride to her. Suddenly something - a chuff, its meaning obscured by her excitement, not able to remember the tone of what she had heard but she had heard something nearby. New friend!

She rose and sallied through the thick mire, huffing and grunting at the unaccustomed muck, the vines, the weight. She saw the stranger, well-postured and neatly composed, an exercise in patience whereas she (skinny, muddy, smelling like piss) was an exercise in blundering in where she was neither wanted nor expected but nonetheless she hollored "HI!" as soon as she saw him, slogging toward him from further along the border's invisible path. She panted for a moment, not because she was thinking of what to say but because she needed to breathe. She was weak. There was food here but she had been alone for a long time and under the fresh pride scent she was obviously from foreign parts, a new arrival. "I'm Walpurgis! Who'ar you?" her tone was hollow, a copy of a copy of greetings genuinely meant by her betters, repeated here in eagerness and the blunt hope that he would like her.

He did not know the male standing at the border, but the female; she was vaguely familiar. A female belonging to Ifrit? He vaguely remembered her coming and going, or perhaps it was bleed over from the chaos (I honestly cant remember if Viné would know her or not lol). Regardless, she stood facing the stranger, on his land as if she'd come from within it. Someone must have brought her here; Wodnik the only possible answer. Instead he turned his focus to the male that stood on his border. "Greetings, I am Viné Casimir Sovereign of Ecrosia Mire." He introduced himself with a level tone; eyes casting over the male critically. He wasn't sure what to make of the newcommer, few came to the Mire willingly and even fewer sought it out. He waited quietly for a reply.
