The pale pink beast stood at the precipice of this new place, the fog swept aside for him like a great curtain, revealing what it had left to offers. This was it. In his heart of hearts he wanted to make this place his, his home his place to belong and keep safe.

Win or lose, he would fight harder than he ever had. He would carve out this place to be his own. Flexing his toes against the earth, blood pumped in his ears as he chuffed loudly into the atmosphere, announcing his presence, his claim, and waiting for the challengers that may come.

KNEEL TO THE CROWN       This was unexpected. Yet pleasant. Almost the moment the winds had swept aside the mist to reveal a new location--one fit for a pride to inhabit--there was a cry of claim for it. That was the expected part. The unexpected part was who it was who had voiced his stance; The great pink giant himself, Fionn.       "May the odds be ever in your favor." There was clear amusement in Zagan's voice as he approached, drifting to a stop a respectable distance from the massive lion. A colossus in his own right, the clay Casimir felt positively dwarfed by this male. At first he had disliked it, not wanting to be one-upped by anyone for any reason. Now... now he appreciated the man's size. Especially in a hunt. The clay-clad Casimir gave a soft chuckle as he settled into a relaxed stand. "As if you need luck." Fionn had proven himself intelligent and capable in their hunt together, teaching Zagan tricks that he was then able to take back to his pride.       Senses were kept alert, eyes scanning the horizon, nose testing the winds, and ears catching the faintest of sounds. curiosity always gotten the better of her. there lingered doubt the day would remain uneventful, peaceful. from what had conspired in the pit came the belief this would never be a province that would know rest. prosperity, yes; but peace? as the fog peeled back, revealing a place across the sands, camelia was drawn across the distance, spurned into haste by the bellowing claim of a new king. she'd no designs to take up a mantle, a fight. she was but a curious child, one who seemed to have found another familiar face. she quirked her head, approaching to @Zagan's left. she said nothing, but offered a jesting smirk.what will we do?

A familiar call - one he recalled hearing from his own lips had echoed far into the landscape. What was this? It ushered the golden king from his Lagoon and into the long-distance away. By the time he had arrived, there was two surrounding one that seemed to be on the defense. Ahh, this was a new land - new smells - new territory to take space. Looking around and seeing a familiar face, (@Zagan), Vasilis would move to wander to Zagan's right but a few feet to the side of the man. He kept still, silent, observing as he licking his now healing wounds on his lips and mouth. "Good luck.." he whispered barely loud enough for Camelia to hear but maybe close enough for Zagan to. His eyes scanned the new face, one he had yet to see. Interesting, how would this flare out? Would someone come to challenge the pink man he had met not long ago, like Vermier had done to him? Eyes flickered and watched eagerly to see what would happen.

while others were eager to claim and fight and thrive, melly was simply eager. the fog parted and suddenly there was so much more to explore! her little paws were already tired at the mere idea of it, but she bounces dutifully forward. of course her extravagant plans were quickly put aside when she hears a loud call, rumbling through the air. what was that all about?! there's only one way to find out, and so she darts off - stumbling through the sands like a girl on a mission.

when she arrives to the oasis, there is little to see - a few people are standing around, staring at one man in particular. she has absolutely no idea what's going on but that doesn't stop her from inserting herself into the group, all wide eyes and bright smile. once she offers a smile to all those in attendance she turns to stare at fionn, too, but gasps when she sees him. "wow!" she says, far too loud for the situation - but it's obvious she doesn't care much beyond him. "you're so pink!" he's also in the middle of a pride claim but.... you know. melly was only focusing on the important things.

The clay woman sauntered into the Oasis, the call having attracted not just her but others as well. If it were up to Georgia she would have challenged the man at the drop of a hat but alas the Oasis was not where she wanted her home to be (should she have the opportunity to build one for herself). She moved to find her own space by herself, pulling her haunches beneath her to sit as her mismatched gaze briefly took in those around her. Everyone wished the man luck meanwhile Georgia sat tight-lipped, yes let us see if he truly deserves a crown, shall we? *Georgia is observing

Maia had been lounging on the outskirts of the pit when the call fell upon her attentive ears. She recognized the voice that echoed through the land, and this caused her to rise to grey haunches and move away from the dullness that the pit had offered.

The young woman moved through various territories, until she discovered the Oasis. The heavy fog that had been clouding this area had lifted, which caused the Tolkien to follow the call from Fionn and, as a small crowd gathered, the lioness took a seat.

Wrapping her tail around her paws neatly, the girl turned her attention to @Fíonn, casting him a brief smile in support.

Hecuba hadn't meant to arrive on the coattails of her husband's former mistress, but she moved as though her presence didn't bother her in the least. It didn't really, to be quite honest, although she was rather disappointed to see the fiery woman had survived the attacks. If that made her a bad person, so be it, she would not be ashamed for side-eyeing the lioness that had wanted Drakon's body in exchange for information. Hecuba allowed her gaze to drift across the woman's face, would offer a stiff nod if their eyes met, and settle off to the side to watch the challenge unfold.

This time it was Trouble's turn to stalk Mayhem; with a spring in her step, Tosca made her way across the sands and merged into the gathering tentatively, making a beeline for @Camelia and seeking to brush her shoulder alongside that of the smaller female as she sat. Politely, the freckled girl would offer a nod of greeting to the young male that sat with her - because it would have been rude to ignore @Zagan completely - before addressing her friend verbally. "Why am I not surprised to find you where the action is?" With a little wink she'd seek to jostle the other yearling playfully before focusing back on the man who sought to place his claim here. The place was awfully dry and desolate; was this the ideal place to start a pride? It wasn't really to Tosca's tastes, but hey - who was she to judge?

This possibly wasn't the smartest decision that Ida had ever made but she was still a young cub just learning her way around. Part of the reason she was out here was because she had managed to slip away from Mama and Pa to follow her older sister Tosca. Secretly Ida adored her sister and truly looked up to her, so it was with ease that she decided to sneak away and follow her here.. wherever here was. By the time she arrived there were already so many strange faces around, enough to make Ida relatively nervous. Okay maybe this was a bad idea .. but it was too late to turn back and she didn't want to get lost. Quickly she scampered over to her sister, diving underneath her to hover in-between her front legs. "H-hi Tos.." She said softly, peering through her front legs to survey the scene in front of her.
