Morana Goddess of the Dead Hesitation was there and Morana would've been content without knowing the answer. Never allowing herself to grow to curious about another but it would seem that @Charax would begin to explain how her family worked. It caused uneasiness within her chest and as a mother, Morana didn't like that idea. But Charax was not her own flesh and blood and was raised differently because of it. It depends on who I am speaking to and what kind of mood I am. Sometimes, depending on my mood, I am take what I want without asking and other times I ask. Charax

I take your gloom, I curl it up and puff it into plumes

She eyes the woman curiously, struggling to comprehend the logic behind the strangers answer. If anything, it sounded as though @Morana wasn’t a particularly straight forward personality, and Charax finds herself pondering what situations would bring about the maned-lioness’ aggressive side. Perhaps her belly was just too full of fish in that moment to be bothered by her own ‘impolite’ arrival.

“My name is Charax,” perhaps easing herself into the situation somewhat, she rather subconsciously becomes distracted by the terrain; “Is this fresh water?” It seemed peculiar to say the least, to find freshwater fish on a sandy tropical island.

Morana Goddess of the Dead She was very straight forward but was also patient. There wasn't much that would push Morana to the edge of where she would need to fight for food or anything. No threaten her family; that was a different story. But for now, Morana was content to just lay here and have a conversation with a stranger. Morana. She would state before glancing around them and to the water she had originally fished in. Yes, or at least as fresh as the rain that brings it. She would admit, glancing around towards the water's edge. It's not bright to fish out of the sea itself. To salty. She would advise. @Charax"Talk here." && 'Think here.'

She had not known the coast, at least not until she had left her homeland. Ask the woman anything about the swamp and she could answer, if she so cared, but sand, salt and palm trees? No clue. A creature who found comfort within her ability to memorise terrains and use them to her advantage, her curiosity is piqued by @Morana ‘s willingness to teach. Already she maps the landscape, learning it’s traits. “And these,” Charax gestures to a round ball that had fallen from the trees, taking a stride closer to indicate towards a coconut, “Are they edible? They come from those trees.” The tall, twisted trees dotted the sandy landscape, and though her nose said their ‘fruit’ was okay to consume, her mind was unsure.

Morana Goddess of the Dead Vibrant jewels watched as @Charax moved towards a coconut. Ears twisting as Morana would push herself up to stand and walk over towards it. Knocking the brown hairy ball around before chuckling. She had seen them. Not really. Though there is milk in them, if you can figure out how to cut them open. She had never done such a thing but she had seen other's do it while on her travels to get to Amaryllis. The hesitation was there, and Morana understood completely. Interested, the lioness reaches down to crunch at the coconut with curiosity; shredding long fibres from the sphere. That part didn’t taste good. She felt the tiniest amount of give in the shell but certainly not enough to crack it. Intending to learn more, Charax glances back at @Morana, “I’m heading back before the tide comes in.” It was a vague goodbye as the clay women collected the coconut and made her way briskly back towards the sandbar. Perhaps they’d meet again.

Morana Goddess of the Dead She watched as the other would try to bite down on the coconut. Only scratching the surface before making her hasty retreat with the coconut. Vibrant jewels watched the woman leave and soon disappear before grabbing whatever was left of her fish and heading back to the main land before the tide trapped her in the island. But where would she go? Morana had yet to find anyone that she knew and it was rather heartbreaking to say the least. A sigh formed as she would head towards the shoreline to possibly find a den near there and crash for the night until she could travel again. exit"Talk here." && 'Think here.'
