She falls, and Roarke attempts to move with her, trying to keep his paw on her shoulder and pressure on her body. She’s a slippery thing, however, and manages to latch her teeth into his leg, just above his wrist. Roarke winces, irritated that his already injured leg was again the target, but he is more than unwilling to let his advantage go. He tries to put more of his weight on her, and bends at the neck to attempt to wrap his open jaws around the top of her snout, trying to dig his fangs in and yank upwards.

Priory grabs hold of his leg and attempts to rip backwards, his jaws attempting to latch around her snout. She lurches backwards when half-sight notices his jaws coming towards her, the skin ripping beneath his teeth, her scrambling to get away from his grasp but forgetting for a moment to let go of his leg, releasing her jaws quickly when she realized. Priory scrambles to her paws and jumps towards him, attempting to wrap both legs around his neck and dig her jaws into his right cheek, reinvigorated with new energy as she cranes her neck, claws fully extended as they attempt to dig into his mane again.

She was pleased that the smaller female had won - but she remembered a recent discussion she had had with the spotted male as well. "@Priory.. You will wear the title of Noble - use it well.. @Roarke." Her bi colored gaze turned to the male before she gave a tilt of her skull. "You bled for the forest - it may not be within the realm of the forest - but you bled for her. Gentry is yours, if you will accept it." She wondered if the lion would be upset by being given a lower rank. Of course, she had no doubts that he would work his way up higher given time. And, she would need to see how well the current ranks did as well. After all - Just because there was a body in a role didn't mean they would keep that role. "You both have great potential - I'm curious to see what you will do."

just like that - blood is shed and the winner is declared. the crown sagging lightly below each of their brows as the warriors of firnen delve unto the anarchy that comes to pass within the world. she only stays long enough to hear the assessment of their rankings. joining her among the ladder is the unfamiliar but stunning @Roarke - she wonders briefly if there will be disappointment within his pride for the lowering rank but comes to care less what he thinks as long as he serves in time with what he has been given. as for the woman. well - she is something interesting that is needed to have further inspection. its something that she will have to clamber to meet with the two later. for now - celeste would depart in a waking mist of chamberous secrets.

Priory withdrew, untangling herself from the man while blood spilled gently from her wounds. She look to Sangria, perhaps a hint of a proud smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I will not disappoint you," she promised, respectfully tipping her head to the High Sovereign. The Rainforest was her new home, and she was devoted to serving it well. The time to rebuild the legacy of the Creeds would come, but the Rainforest would be her legacy for now.

"You fought well," she told Roarke, lifting a paw to lick at her wounds, before rising and heading back to the Rainforest. She would need to tend to her injuries, and then there would be much to do with her new rank.

Gemma is hidden.
The black and white siren watched hungrily from the shaded sidelines. Red eyes cast upon the two that were the center of attention within the pit but more or less, featured upon the woman that fought with such vigor and tenacity. Gemma quietly rooted for her, for #womensupportingwomen and all that. Occasionally she turned her head to look to her leader to see how she was feeling about the match but it was clear that there would only be pride and excitement. A quick turn back to the fight as the two seemed to simmer their fights down to the very last punches as Priory wins. The Rainforest, as Sangria has mentioned, had chosen it's winner which left Roarke with a consolation prize but it was a good one, at that.

Gemma fought when it was absolutely necessary but something told her that she wanted something more out of this. She, too, wanted to stir the pot and figure out what she wanted out of being here in the forest. Would it be productive to do what she wanted to do or would she get punished for wishing to shoot her shot? It was hard to say but surely Sangria wouldn't mind some weight thrown around for the hell of it? She didn't seem to mind a small lioness against a large male so who was to say that stirring shit for the hell of it would go poorly? There were a lot of factors to consider, leaving Gemma to high-tail it out before someone spotted her. exit gemma

In the end, the fight leaves Roarke pleasantly surprised. Priory lands a few good hits. She’d make a good fighter, and proved herself. The sovereign is quick to award her the rank, and the beast hesitates only a moment before accepting his own with a curt nod. Pride ranks and hierarchy were still odd to him, but it might award him a little more freedom in battle, and expanding the pride. If Firnen flourished, then so would everyone within it. With that, he turns to depart as the others do - keen to mend his wounds and spend the rest of the day enjoying th aftermath of a decent fight.
