All that glitters is not gold

For some reason Nymeria had wanted him to come to this specific, ideallic pool in the territory. Passing by the mess the intruder had made months ago, he pondered the replacement trees. Not many, and some of them had died, but surprisingly he had been true to his word. Shaking his head, he presses in as the trees thicken and the stream meanders into the territory more deeply. He probably would never like the guy but at least he was a little redeemable.

It didn't take long for him to travel familiar pathways to the place. Nym wasn't there yet and he had no idea that he was going to encounter anyone else. So finding a comfortable spot beneath a tree and upon a water smoothed boulder he sat and waited. The dappled sunlight reached him here in the thin growth directly by the brook that gave the territory its name. A sigh escapes him as he gets comfortable. This was a nice basking spot. He had absolutely no idea he had been set up, and was content to wait for his sister to show. Wasn't he going to be surprised when @Sloane showed up and he realized she had already started to match make. Oh this was going to be awkward and hilarious.

Nymeria had informed Sloane that she needed her to meet her at a very specific time and place within the brook. Sloane hadn't thought anything of it, in fact she wondered if there was something that the Queen needed help with so naturally she made sure to oblige. Her steps were easy as she moved throughout the terrain, she was still becoming accustomed to her new home and so not everything was completely familiar to her just yet. However the instructions that Nymeria had given her were easy enough to follow and so she began her trip. Using the trees to guide her she made her way closer to the babbling brook, it was only then that lilac eyes fell onto the form of @Aurum who was clearly not Nymeria. "Oh, I'm sorry.. I thought Nymeria had wanted me to meet her here?" She glanced around her then, maybe she had gotten the directions wrong? "Though I was certain I had followed her directions to the right spot.." She murmured aloud then before taking a few steps closer to Aurum. She pulled her haunches beneath her to sit then before her gaze flickered to him once more. "Well, I'm Sloane. I guess there's no harm in waiting here for her." Thus far he didn't expect anything at all. Hadn't suspected her matchmaking ways, and probably wouldn't for a hot minute. Thus as he waited, sun touched and dappled, he thought nothing of someone who was clearly not his sister approaching. He did offer her a smile of greeting, he was not impolite. Only when she spoke, arriving shortly after he, did he speak. "Ah, my sister invited me as well. She must be running late." he mused, looking about for her to appear out of the shadows. Since this was the first set up with a lady he was completely oblivious. "Aurum Valour, nice to meet you Sloane." he rumbles, polite, friendly, oh so oblivious. And so the two idiots sat and waited for someone who wasn't going to come.
