Others poured into the event, though the one who seemed to snag his eye was the pale figure of @Rhaella. The first to arrive and bold enough to offer a greeting to the Obsidian lions. Kvi stepped a pace or two ahead of his father, catching his command to introduce himself. Of course. He acknowledged his father with a flick of his ear. "I’m Myrkvi." He introduced, loud enough for others to catch but mostly directed at the the princess. "I think any possible intruders caught wind of us." He answered @Morrigan as she brought up the mighty battle between himself, Rasmus and a strange yearling. More poured into the gathering and Kvi found himself approaching the princess casually whose name was offered up by Talisa. She was a current distraction for the offer of a story. "Would you like to play?" Kvi was even happy to let her choose a game, curious about the differences between the two families. Considering games with his siblings turned awfully competitive.

There was a heavy sigh of relief when she heard the footsteps of someone near to her along with the soothing view of @Morrigan. It made her feel all the comfort in the world to know that she was here and present, able to assist and mingle as was necessary for an event like this. It certainly made Talisa feel a little less stressed out as a hostess to have someone by her side. @Farrow, too, made a quick appearance shortly after her. Easing Talisa two-fold. To each of them she gave a long and lingering nuzzle to their faces, reaching into them affectionately without a care for public displays. These were her mates and she would never feel shamed to show how much she treasured them.

Attention diverted back to @Magnus as he asked a question amidst conversation and Talisa nodded her head with a hum. Mhm. This is Khal, for he might've addressed the young cub that he seemed quite interested in befriending with his name but he had failed to let everyone hear it. Talisa was happy to introduce him anyways. Though, as her lilac eyes found themselves to be looking upon the children she realized that two of her children had yet to show up. With both mates here, she had to wonder if maybe they had gotten sidetracked or lost on the way to the gathering. She had told them a day prior where to go so they must have found something else.

I am sorry to be so rude, and bail on my own party, but I think two of my kids might have gotten a little side-tracked in getting here. She paused and let out a playful sight as she turned to look at both mates, I'd better go find them. Make sure all the kids stay in the perimeter and that folks take some food with them. Her expression kindly but pointedly saying please, eat!! As she had collected enough to feed a small army, after all.

So the Heiress set out to finding Ori and Cassandra; she might be able to cut her young and sickly child some slack but they both needed to be here. @Farrow came just behind Morrigan with an apology on his lips for their lovely @Talisa and the warrior leaned into the handsome brute's touch as he passed, reminding herself this wasn't the time or place to be ogling him. She'd just have to set that up for later. She wouldn't hesitate either to relish in her wife's sweet touch, happy to show off both of her paramours and her children at last. Or at least one of them so far...

Charming as always, Farrow had already begun to spin a tale for the children present, catching @Hrefna's attention foremost. It was her father's voice who drew Morrigan's gaze next, though. "I was told of the trouble; I am pleased you all had it under control." Though it had been her duty, the rare bit of softness in @Magnus's dark expression still gave the usually stoic soldier's heart a squeeze. "Always an honor to protect my home," she replied before brushing off the emotion as a side-effect of motherhood.

Talisa had noted that Ori and Cassandra hadn't made an appearance yet and took the initiative to introduce Khal as Morrigan was briefly distracted by the exchange she had also witnessed. She'd never seen her sweet boy look so enchanted, and though it was no surprise he hadn't been very vocal with his name, she was happy to see him interested in a bit more of the world of any kind. Especially if that interest might one day lie in @Voluspa.

Morrigan looked at both Magnus and @Nadia to see if she could tell what their thoughts might be before shifting back to the boys again. @Myrkvi had introduced himself obediently before responding to her and Morrigan didn't mind complimenting the dark boy again, "No doubt," she encouraged, though one day all of these children would likely be very formidable and woe be to anyone who didn't first run into Morrigan. He had approached the Vermedan princess now though and Morrigan was happy to leave them to whatever game they chose.

There was still no sign of the other two of her own litter though, and Talisa shared the same concern as she decided to go and find the pair. "Of course, my love," she replied, and Talisa moved off into the Brook before Morrigan went to the pile of collected food. She would drag back the carcass of an impala and drop it between the group, "Best we eat while we talk, else Farrow and I might be in trouble later."

She would first tear off a leg and move it to the side should any of the children want a piece of this particular meal, but they were otherwise welcome to choose their own favorites from the pile.

Everything was put together so nicely and even Nadia couldn't help but feel the pleasure that came with being out of the caverns for a few hours. Of course she loved her home but even she had moments where she missed the sunshine on her back (even if it heated her obsidian coat far faster than she would have liked). She smiled warmly to Talisa, glad to finally meet Morrigan's partner and have a face to match the name. "Thank you for having us Talisa this is all so nice." She offered then, allowing her gaze to wander as her husband made small-talk and even that was an interesting change considering Magnus was never necessarily the talkative type. Quickly her dark gaze scans the group, smiling as she watches each of her cubs interacting with the others. It was nice to get them out to socialize, they needed the interaction with other cubs that was certain. Her attention is drawn back when Talisa excuses herself and she nods in response before pulling herself from Magnus' side and instead making her way closer to Morrigan. Instantly she approaches the warrior, bumping her shoulder with her own before offering her a wide smile, "You didn't tell me how gorgeous your wife is.." She mused before reaching around Morrigan to grab a portion of meat for herself. After all she didn't want her lead warrior getting into trouble for them not eating!

Cassandra Valour

Crap. Mama was gonna be peeved at her. She'd promised to go to the meeting with the other cubs from Mummy's other home, and yet she'd found herself getting distracted on the way there. And then Cassandra had woken up under a tree, having evidently taken a nap on her way to said meeting. The Valour cub had been woken up by Mama, the disappointment in her tardiness evident in her voice as she had instructed her to hustle on to the meeting before it was too late. So she had pushed herself to her paws and hustled in the direction Mama had told her to do so.

Having moved as quickly as she could without tripping over her paws, Cassandra eventually arrived on the scene of the gathering of lions. Spotting Mummy within the group, Cass made a beeline for her, a sudden shyness overcoming the girl at the sheer number of others in one location. If she was able to, Cassandra would sneak herself underneath @Morrigan, situating herself between Mummy's paws if allowed. She wasn't usually overwhelmed - but she'd never been around this many other lions before. At all. And it made the normally outspoken and headstrong young Valour girl a bit nervous.

Especially since Mama and Mummy had told her she needed to make a good impression on the lions that were at this meeting... since they were from where Mummy was when she wasn't with them in the Brook. Mismatched purple eyes peered at the other cubs in the group, spotting her eldest brother Khal as well as her cousins Calder, Juliette and Rhaella. Those cubs she knew... but the other dark cubs were complete strangers to the dark brown girl. She had the nose drips of Talisa, but bore the marks of Morrigan as well, branding the young girl as a daughter of both the lionesses.

Rasmus had mostly stayed to himself upon their arrival to the brook. It wasn't that he was intending to be socially awkward he was merely caught up in taking in the scenery around him. It wasn't often that they got to travel from the Hollows but when they did the boy really soaked everything in. He decided that he liked the brook, especially with the crisp fresh smell that the land carried. Lilac gaze shifted when another cub arrived, scampering underneath @Morrigan and situating herself there. Rasmus rose from his seated position then and headed closer, curious to find out who she was. "Hello .. I'm Rasmus." He spoke to @Cassandra then, ducking his head down so he could peer beneath Morrigan to make eye contact with the girl, meanwhile he offered her a soft smile.

considering that this was her first real time getting to meet children from another pride, rhaella knew that she wanted to give a good first impression, and make her family proud of how well-behaved they could be. and so she remained invested in the interaction, oversized ears perched high above her tiny crown, until there was a shift in the air, and her attention flickered to the more focused shape of @Myrkvi. his pelt was as black as the night itself, almost polar opposites to the design of the valour princess -- but it added to her intrigue all the same, lips twisting up into a jovial expression as she listened to the sigrun introduce himself. "myrkvi -- i like that name. nice to meet you ~" she exclaimed, offering the prince a bright, brimming smile, while the space between them slowly sunk away. she, too, would shuffle a few feet closer, glancing occasionally at her siblings and the other bodies present, albeit the fact that she reveled in the chance to get to know the outsider better. "whatdya have in mind?" she inquired finally in response to his suggestion, glancing around the gaggle of children and adults with a perched brow. there were trinkets and bones galore, but she was horrible at making tough decisions!

It wasn't too much longer before his other parents made an appearance, though both of his own siblings remained missing from the party. As his parents greeted him and introduced him properly he would smile politely up at the two Obsidian Sovereign, though there was still a shyness to his features. He didn't know if he'd ever be entirely comfortable amongst a group like this, but it was easier to just focus on one thing at a time, so his silver-purple eyes shifted back to @Voluspa as she asked if he'd yet to see the ocean. "Only from a distance, but I like to listen to the waves at night when it's quiet," he admitted before his face suddenly lit up with an idea, "We could go to the beach together, maybe?" he asked her with a questioning glance up at Morrigan and @Farrow to see if he was truly old enough to be allowed that far on his own. He looked to @Magnus and @Nadia as well, wondering if they would approve of the Princess going if she wished.

voluspa had never been able to conceptualize how big and vast the world around them way -- after only knowing caves for so long, the possibilities seemed endless now that she was free to roam the wide, open beyond. well, within reason, she supposed. nonetheless, the babe's wide, curious eyes remained set upon the valour child with intent, ears pricking forward to catch the soft fall of his words as they filled the space between them. and oh, she could not have been more delighted by what he chose to say. "i'd like that." the sigrun replied, trying to mask the sudden giddiness that was brewing within her chest -- though it showed, still, through the cracked edges of her grin and the warming of her cheeks beneath rich, obsidian fur. she knew, however, that it was hardly so simple -- and so, as the question hung upon the air, the valkyrie would swing her head to look towards both @Magnus and @Nadia, shuffling a step closer to @Khal in the process. "mother? father?" she inquired softly, peeking up through thin, ebony lashes as she awaited their much-needed approval. and, hopefully, khal's parents would not have any qualms about it either. oh, please say yes..

As @Nadia approaches Morrigan arches a dark brow at her words before her lips curl into a smile, "Well now... @Magnus can't be the only one with such a catch," she prodded back to the beautiful dark Queen. Easy to be reminded of her handsome brother if she wasn't so close and so striking herself. Before she could think much more though she was distracted by the surprise of an invitation from her son. He'd been very happy so far to remain at home, learning what he could from his parents and being well-behaved. She hadn't expected him to make such an offer, but she was happy he did. "I don't see a problem with it if Magnus and Nadia don't," she granted before turning to look at @Aquila and @Farrow. "Farrow. Aquila. Make sure you eat something, too, boys," she encouraged, waving her tail to gesture they were welcome to come and meet the Obsidian Royalty if they hadn't already.
