She ran and ran. Her body had so much adrenaline that it just wouldn't stop. Yes, her legs were bleeding and in so much pain from the attack that she should've stopped when she crossed over the scent markers of a pride she didn't know. It wasn't home. But it didn't matter as her ears twisted on top of her head and all of her other senses were on high alert as she found herself in a dead log shaking and crying. MAMA!!! She screamed but all of these new scents were new to her. They were not the brook and she wasn't home.

Leave it to the merle woman to be super keen on hearing and sight when it came to the cries of a child. There was something about its shrillness that forced her upright from a snooze and right into the mindsight of a protective mother. Without hesitating she booked it towards the screaming child that was clearly calling for her mother but to no avail. Corinna was going to help or she'd die trying.. maybe.

Though, when she arrived she was quick to slow her pace and chuff to the youngling. Corinna couldn't easily make out where they were by sight so she had to play it by ear and smell, lowering her head as she began to track down the child. I am here to help, little hunter. From what she gathered by smell alone there was blood involved and no scent of the Mire on their pelt. Only foreign scents that she was not familiar with. My name is Corinna. I am not Mama, but I am a mother. She believed she could help the child if only they would let her. Corinna could keep the child safe and elect someone to find plants for her should the child be the one hurt.

Hanneth was lingering around the edges, waiting for Dero to meet with Kiton and to figure out if this would be where they would be living. She walked along the marked border when she came across the blood and the scent of a cub mixed with it. Her heart jumped and took only a moment to consider. If she crossed and Kiton didn't accept Dero... or more importantly her she could be attacked but a cub could be hurt. She didn't know how Kiton would take his father having a new wife and having built a life outside of the mother he never knew but Hanneth also couldn't turn her back on a cub in need. She crossed over, following the scent carefully until she heard a small voice cry out. Her pace picked up but it seemed that another was first. Hanneth paused for a moment as she looked at the other and took a deep sigh of relief when she saw who it was. Corinna. Mother to her half-siblings and Hanneth wasn't surprised to find her here in Kiton's lands. She was wife to Taj, Roan and Kiton's grandfather. She chuffed softly to her as she arrived next to her, giving her a gentle head bump on her shoulder in greeting. Hello little one. Are you hurt? Corinna and I can get you feeling better. She felt no reserve about offering aid to the cub alongside Corinna. She knew that Corinna was well aware that she was a healer and if the cub was hurt, she could offer that aid and Corinna had a solid standing in the pride if the cub needed a home. Together they could work together. The scents coming off the cub were mixed and while Hanneth thought she picked up something she knew, she wasn't sure among the other scents that were coming off here.

Noises. She heard noises. It caused her to crouch further into the long shaking with fear. All of these new sense were drowning her in their wake. She didn't understand them. She didn't understand any of this. Ygritte was terrified. She closed her eyes, ears alert and pushed forwards as she heard movement near her hiding place and prayed it wasn't that monster that was covered in sand and sea. But what came to her was a females voice. Not one but two. And slowly, Ygritte shuffled forwards enough to allow herself to tilt her head to the opening of her log but never venturing out. Her legs dried with blood. Trembling and weak. @Corinna @Hanneth

Eventually she stumbled upon the child as it came crawling out of a nearby log, dark red coating her legs and ultimately making Corinna fear the worst. Eyes moved quickly to the sounds nearby to find the familiar face of @Hanneth as she seemed to have found home, too. Having the golden lioness there would certainly be best as she was the better healer of the two. Corinna knew the basics but not nearly enough to fix the more detrimental ailments. You poor dear, she leaned forward on her forelegs and swept down to the ground on her belly as though subconsciously urging the child to move forwards. What is your name? Best to ask the nice questions before they went into the darker parts of the last hour to find out exactly what had happened, who was involved and why.

Hanneth never wished for anyone to be hurt but there was a part of her soul that was hopeful that she would be useful this day. That she would be able to help someone, anyone, with something. To take her own mind off the weight of her life and focus on anything else. As the cub came into view Hanneth's eyes quickly went to work but didn't see any wounds on her head but concern grew as she looked at the clouded eyes. Cor asked for a name so Hanneth didn't ask one to keep things easier on the youth. I am Hanneth. She gave her own name hopefully to help ease things along. Hanneth attempted to grab Cor's attention and covered her eyes with her own paw to try and show Cor that the cub was blind. This was something they would need to keep in mind moving forward.

Her heart still beat loud in her ear drums but she was thankful to be able to hear the two female voices. Yes, female and it caused her to relax slightly but never step foot out of the safety of the log. Plus, her legs ached and she didn't want to move. A name? One asked for her name while the other said a name. Ears pushed and twisted and turned on her head as she listened to them both, unaware that @Hanneth could tell that she was blind and informing the other. Y..ygritte... She would squeak, fear still etched into her voice as she would point her nose in the direction of the two female scents. One smelled of flowers, sweetness and the swamp but it was a good mixture and Ygritte could tell that she lived here while the other; was not of the same mixture. @Corinna

Patience and understanding was her best weapon here and she was swift to use it as she allowed herself to be on the same platform as the young, blue child. The bloodied legs truly made her feel quite uncomfortable but not for her sake, but for @Ygritte as she now timidly addressed herself as. Attention swept to @Hanneth as her.. relative gave off signals that Corinna very easily picked up on. A slow nod of her head and it became a whole new situation. Ygritte, such a beautiful name for a beautiful young lady. Sweetly, as she allowed herself to be the kind voice in the girl's ears as Hanneth took to investigating what sort of healing would be required in this instance. Deciding to look at the woman occasionally to see if there was anything she needed to go grab or do to help aide the situation. Oh wow, do you hear that? she said out loud as her ears went up and her eyes looked upwards. That loud, obnoxious call is a Hadeda. They make those sounds when they are flying over head. An easy jab at hopefully distracting Ygritte and making her calm.

Medic Hanneth on the Way!

Hanneth was happy to see the cub seemed to be warming up to them as she gave her name. It is good to meet you Ygritte. She spoke softly after Cor. She was happy to have the older lioness there with her as Cor distracted Ygritte and Hanneth moved closer. She was careful not to touch the youth but with her hiding in the log it was hard to tell what was wrong. She could very clearly smell blood and now that she was here, she knew it was the cubs. While the cub didn't seem to be suffering from blood loss it was still concerning that a cub would be bleeding at all. Ygritte do you think you could come out a little more? I am a healer and I want to help you. She just needed her to come out a little more so she could get a better look. She had spotted a few items she could quickly grab while she was walking in here so she knew where to go, she just needed to know how deep the wounds might be.

There was a compliment and it caused her skin to flush beneath her pelt. Th.. Thank you.. She would stammer before she heard the strange noise and it caused her to shrink into the log only to whimper in pain at the pressure in her legs. Tears threatened to come and stain her cheeks as @Hanneth would begin to speak. Informing her that she was a healer and wanted to help. Slowly, ever so slowly, Ygritte ventured out of the log in a stagger. A whimper here and there. It all hurt. He..He isn't going to come back is he..? Even though @Corinna tried to distract her, fear still etched it's way in her body like a fresh wound.
