War Guidelines

Any pride member, regardless of rank, can protect members of their pride and members of allied/pact prides against theft. Allies and pacts must be roleplayed and made official IC before the start of the skirmish/raid/war thread and be listed as such on the pride page to count for this perk.

A lion cannot attack or attempt to steal the same character twice. They also cannot attack characters who have already lost fights in that thread.

Interference rules still apply.

Lions can engage and be challenged to multiple maim matches and wounded rolls are still at play.

If your character wins in a death match during a skirmish/raid/war, they can only be in another fight if they are the ones who initiate it.

Exits are only valid after 72 hours have passed with it being uncontested.

Characters will also have the ability to initiate a Prisoner Challenge against the opposing party. Pride leaders dictate who in their pride can take prisoners during raids and wars, and it must be listed in their pride laws.

When engaging in fights, there are limits to the extra dice you can claim from different perks. You can claim:

All of your own dice perks (perks resulting from your own trade levels or from your rank within the pride)

+1 dice from the occupational perk of another character/pride-member (i.e. Lead Advisor +1 luck perk)

+1 dice from someone else’s trade perk (i.e. +1 luck from a Master Pathfinder)

Only self-earned dice from trades are applicable to DMs.

@Matthieu calls for a celebration! A jovial gathering for a wedding to his dearest beloved, @Diomedeidae. The bard had put a lot of effort into the gathering with decorations, carcasses and even coconuts with shells for noise, and of course, for the indulgence of the adults- fermented coconut juice. It was set up to be the grandest of nights, cool from the late fall/early winter weather. Of course, that is, until @Zahra had stolen away from the Mire, tempting @Luther ♔ to follow her and in true Rike fashion, crash the party before it had even begun.

The newly appointed King of the Mire called for all of his allies and they flocked to him like flies to a kill. A moth to flame. Then chaos would reign for the remainder of the party. The Brook member, @Velasco was the first to arrive, and shortly after his arrival the Bride herself arrived. @Diomedeidae launched into a major maim with Luther. What a fierce bride Matti has, hmm? Or maybe she is tired of Luthers shit? Will we ever know? The battle was valiant, ferocious even, ending in _______ being the victor.

The skull painted medic of the Lagoon, @Heloise, would be next to both arrive and then launch herself into another major maim against the Ecrosia bystander @Valentine. They had a fierce fight, ending in Heloise being declared the victor, taking with her _____

Sneaky @Arcania ♔, of the Brook, had snuck in, but unlike Velasco, she had remained hidden- for now! The ginormous heir of the Lagoon @Colsun would arrive, calling for their own reinforcements and allies to the party. Though he did not immediate launch himself to attack the party crashers.

@Peregrine arrived, their RP’er creating a frenzy by the double xp their character provides. @Temero, good little princling from the Brook arrived to find the sweet and innocent @Novana unattended and took the opportunity to try to steal her. It is the High Sovereign of the Hollows, @Alexander ♔, that battles with Temero for the young Lagoon cub. But wait! The former Queen of the Brook rushes in to protect the young Novana too. Unable to resist, @Icefang ♔ joins into the fray, trying to assist Temero in the theft, but just for a round or so, then she abandons him to defend her daughter from theft and Temero defaulted as well ( narrator lost this and forgot). The outcome being Alexander and Cassandra win Novana

Ah, but it is the Summit Queen (@Morrigan) herself that descended next, calling for her family, pride…and ghosts to join her in what will quickly become known as the Red Wedding. Known for her skill in battle (and returning from the dead) will anyone have the balls to face her wrath? Yes! Yes indeed! It is the young @Peregrine that rises to challenge her for a major maim much to the bewilderment of the Summit Queen. She didn’t even know who he was! Later to find out during the fight that she had killed Peregrines father, Andras. All of the juicy details are spilled during this glorious battle, resulting in ________.

@Tobin, Soul of Judgment arrives, only to be barreled through as if he didn’t exist by those leaping into the fray. How rude indeed. They definitely deserve to be judged! @Zahra, clever girl that she is, tries to free herself from the clutches of the Mire, bellowing out for any Mire members to challenge her escape. Sadly, she does not go unchallenged. The pale @Lamb launches in to stop her easy escape. @Scorpius also launches himself into the battle in defense of Zahra. Making it quite…unfair. Well…for a moment, because then @Eamon is joining in making it 2 on 2!The result being ________


Not to forget the bystanders that rush only to sit and gawk at the not so jovial event that’s unfolding, @Septima, @Isildur, @Juliette, @Anya ♔, @Angelo, @Dmitri @Livyatan all gather and either approach someone or gossip along the sidelines. @Miaran, queen of the Cove, arrives and declared her allegiance with the Mire, ready for battle. @Dero, Soul of Honor arrives, trying to warn Morrigan of Peregrines attack. What is with these ghosts and being so…honorable? @Avril and Thella also rush in, eager for a fight while @Colsun still searches for the perfect target. @Nyaxia and @Jun join in, watching from the sidelines.

@Rohan comes in, knight in shining armor and shit, and throws himself @Luther ♔ in a Major Maim with the results being _______.

@Louve ♔, @Alaric, @Aphrodite, @Bordeaux, @Miaran, @Clove, @Dominic, @Dragos, @Melusina, @Ixora either arrive or begin discuss politics or hide.

@Grimm makes things interesting by trying to steal @Cassandra, not even giving herself a chance to defend herself (given she was still fighting for Novana). @Isla ♔, queen of the Lagoon arrives and defends Cassandra, calling for war from the pride and their allies.

@Haakon arrives and immediately throws themselves at @Aphrodite, hissing at her to play along and the most bizarre fight of the night happens. Where they land soft blows but never really draw blood or hurt one another, really guys, you could have made it look better than that- couldn’t you? @Zinnia arrives and even gawks at the pair.

Meanwhile, @Rémi arrives and throws himself at @Melusina, sweet lady over there just looking for…wait…was she looking for a fight? No, it couldn’t be. Not the sweet Melusina. Fortunately for her, the noble knight @Cathán jumps in and takes over the fight, telling her to run. The dominance match resulted in Remi winning.

@Colsun finally found someone to fight, trying to steal @Anniston from the Mire. Careful Colsun, Luther doesn’t like his ladies being messed with. He prefers to do all the messing. @Ahyarë and @Anya ♔ jumps in to fight him for her and then @Kasanova joins Colsun. The result being _____

@Vincent, the gorgeous white tiger from the Brook arrives and begins fighting @Jazmin in a minor maim The results are ______

Poor @Novana, not only is she being fought for, she is also thrown into a Major Maim by a much older @Imago, what the hell dude, haven’t you heard fight someone your own size? I think the Brook fucked up with this one. Kids are not to be hurt! The results were Default because Imago abandoned the fight before it even began to fight Dragos to the death. You got lucky kid.

@Khal comes in and decides to beef with @Avril, some bad blood there or was it just business as usual? The dominance match resulted in Khal being the victor.

@Dragos seems to have some honor- and maybe a death wish- and attacks @Imago, calling for death. The first of the night. Yes, you heard me right. There will be more. The results of this fight are _____

@Xander decides to join in and launches at @Monza for a minor maim with the intent to make her dread coming to the Lagoon that day. Will she regret it? We will see! The results were Monza being the winner, she took her pound of flesh.

Thank Maua for Cathán fighting for Melusina, because here comes the sister @Magdalena and she is not happy. Throwing herself at her sister who has…questionable taste in men and has allied herself with the Brook. The sister calls for her own kin’s death and those that know them beg for them both to stop, but no….this is bad blood at its finest and their is no stopping either lioness. @Dominic, the poor romantic, begs Magdalena not to fight her sister to the death because he is madly in love with her. The fight ends with Magdalena winning the death match , much to the Brooks horror. What will Cassius do next, now that one of his wives is dead?

At this point the Wedding has officially reached war status!

@Lathan arrives and immediately sets his eyes on the groom, @Matthieu and tries to imprison him. It was a good fight, but clearly, the Brook assassin was outmatched, getting bashed in the head by a coconut not once- but twice. Oof. That’s embarrassing. Matthieu knocks him unconscious and is declared the victor!

@Sarai arrives and finds the Vermedan noble unconscious and sneaks from her cover to wake him, only to catch Matti’s attention and he low key tries to steal the young princess. Sadly for him, the mother @Icefang ♔, abandons her comrade and launches herself at Matti, letting him know of his mistake. He pleads as they fight, but it no avail. Icefang is quickly declared the winner.

@Olive steps up to fight @Anniston for Dominance though it doesn’t appear that she wants to be fighting. The results are________

@Arcania ♔ steps out of hiding to steal @Diomedeidae. It is a quick fight and Arcania is the victor, taking Dio away quickly after her maim ends with Luther. But..perhaps in doing so she has painted a giant target on her back?

@Hanneth arrives and says some witchy voodoo and attracts the attention of @Miaran, who launches into a dominance match against the elder lioness. Damn, Miaran shows no mercy, not even giving the elderly the benefit of the doubt, maybe she was senile and spouting nonsense! The noble @Roan joins in and defends Hannah, thank Maya. Poor old lady should be left alone. Miaran gets judged by many onlookers for her actions against granny. @Milano jumps in to defend his queen…but is that really the best move? Probably not. @Aphrodite sees her former pride mate jump in and goes to defend Hanneth as well, for a short while. @Elaine ♔ joins in to, making the odds even as she defends Miaran. Miaran soon abandons the fight to go fight Reti to the death. The results were ____

@Roarke calls out for @Rainer and they clash in a glorious tango of death. They obviously have history that this writer doesn’t really know about. The results were _______

@Velasco calls for the imprisonment of @Aphrodite, but she is busy fighting for Hanneth and cannot fight. Fortunately for her @Iðunn and Zinnia defend her. Not that Zinnia is much help and looks traumatized as fuck by the events. The results are ______

@Cassius ♔ sees @Jazmin in a fight and tries to steal her away. It’s @Dio that approaches him to fight to keep her where she is. The results are Cassius stealing Jazmin due to Dio defaulting.

@Asbjørn makes his debut and tries to steal @Avril for some reason. @Khadija rushes in all hell no to fight him for her and then @Felix follows suit. @Teodora makes it a fair fight, she looks scary mad. I dare say rabid with the slobbering. The results are________

@Ragnhild tries to steal @Colsun while he is busy fighting someone else. @Sif rushes in to defend him. @Akuji teams up with Ragnhild and @Maven teams up with Sif. The results are _____

@Rose wisely ferrets @Ekon away before he is added to the stolen or maimed list. Good job Rose!

@Orei jumps in on the thefts and tries to steal @Aneistri, Lathan won’t be happy about that, but she seems like she knows Orei and can defend herself. The results are _____

@Zagrius stops @Moradin from running off before the end of the party and challenges Moradin to a dominance match. These Mire lions are the life of the party, aren't they? Just not allowing anyone to leave. Zagrius kicked ass and won the challenge for Dominance.

@Remi decides to play fuck around and find out with @Icefang ♔ in a dominance match as she bitch slaps Matti one last time. @Temero jumps in with Icefang. The results are_______

Fresh from his rapid victory, @Valtyr joins in. Man, Cassandra really doesn’t stand a chance does she? @Fearne joins in and actually fights this time in favor of Cassandra, maybe she stands a chance. @Mircea joins in defending Cassandra. Fuck, fine its a fair fight. The results are ______.

@Valtyr decides to be a creep with @Lúllia and says weird things. What’s with these vermedians saying weird shit? He tries to steal Lúllia. She quickly caves to his demands, saying she isn’t there to fight. Valtyr wins...but was it really a win? He didn't do anything but creep her out.
